ON THIS MONTH OF CURRENTLY WITH
T H E C A R R I C K S
We are in the process of moving to Hoboken, NJ for the 2019-2020(holyshit) hockey season. Our goods have been packed, and are on their way. We will stay back in Chicago tidying everything up before meeting them. We are ecstatic for this new adventure, we had an amazing summer but it was loooong. Next week we will unpack, settle down and get into a routine with training camp. Connor has been working out, skating and rehabbing all summer. He had a minor incident and has recovered (more on that another time..) and is ready for the season to begin. Meanwhile, I am excited, and nervous to make all new friends although I have met a few of the girls last season. Checking out what the city has to offer is something I am really looking forward to.
LET'S GO D E V I L S!
Connor and I are both participating in Sober September, all month without any alcohol. It is currently day 4, and last night I slept like a baby. We both do it for different reasons, Connor's is to stay focused + lean into the season and for me to help calm my anxiety during all the change. C'mon.. you know you want to join us.

Hoagie is loving life, soaking in all the sun. He will soon be reunited with his favorite dog bed that has been in storage since we moved from Dallas. He may be upset with the lack outdoor space at our new apartment but I am sure he will settle down just fine.
