My go to drink, with a little texture. I recently started drinking tequila and mezcal because of my doctor’s (at Parsley Health) recommendations. I have had margaritas I’ve loved, nice and boozy and I’ve hated, all sweet and sour. I couldn’t figure out why, I started diving into “WTF is a skinny margarita?” I found the original margarita doesn’t use sweetener! So here is my version of the drink, and listen I know I didn’t create it but I drink it. (Link to cointreau og recipe)

2 Ounces Mezcal or Tequila
1 ounce Cointreau
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1 egg white
sparkling water (if desired)
Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice, shake well. - You can also blend in a vitamix, on low, with ice
Serve up in a chilled glass or on the rocks. Optional, top with sparkling water.
HOT TIP - If you are at a cocktail bar, you can always ask for a margarita with egg white.. they will know whats up! Just decide if you want it served up or on the rocks! I go for up, to feel puckin’ fancy.
